Our Story
Bloom Cafe is an all day breakfast and lunch eatery, set in a converted, century old horse tram barn overlooking the River Torrens in Thebarton.
Dishes are seasonally inspired and full of locally sourced ingredients cooked over hot coals. On pour is coffee from local roasters 1645 as well as an extensive wine and cocktail list. Our space provides an intimate, relaxed dining environment inside and a lush, peaceful setting outside in our garden and pavilion.
We welcome prams, pups, big birthday get-togethers and anyone who loves good food and good vibes.
Open 7 days from 7am-4pm weekdays and 8am-4pm weekends.
Dine in on all day breakfast or lunch or takeaway a coffee and house made pastry every day of the year.
Please note, if you're unable to make a reservation via our booking platform, then we are fully booked.
However, we do have plenty of seating in the pavilion or outside reserved for walk-ins!

Start off with breakfast and coffee at ours, then pick up your e-bike and cruise along the River Torrens Linear Park Trail to Henley Beach and along the vibrant coastline to Glenelg. This self-guided tour lets you set your own pace, choose your own adventure, and soak up some of South Australia’s most beautiful natural wonders.

Bookings are essential and can be made any time up to 24 hours in advance.

functions
All functions at Bloom are hosted in our Winwood Garden pavilion. This space sits next to our restaurant with a beautiful vista over the Karrawirra Parri river and plenty of shade on our lawned area under the gum trees. A function with Winwood Garden has all the essence of Bloom's menu from our fire cooked food to our curated selection of beverages available. Enquire today about celebrating with us.
